April Evangeline Tisza
nicknames: just April
birthday: January 12
age: seventeen
orientation: heterosexual
abilities: April isn't entirely sure what her abilities entail just yet. In the last few months, she's started moving at an excessive, inhuman speed. She's always been fast, but nothing like the way she's been moving as of late. About a month ago, her eyes also changed color, becoming an unsettling shade of coppery yellow that is usually only seen in cats.
member group: shape changers

naturally blonde, quite long, and naturally curly.
eye color: blue
height and weight: 5'11" and slender
distinguishing features: just pierced ears, and now these yellow eyes she can't seem to get rid of
face claim: Taylor Swift[/ul][/blockquote]
OUT WHERE YOUR TROUBLES CAN‘T FIND YOU
OUT WHERE YOU LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND
winter, scarves, being outside, running, cuddling, being warm, feeling pretty, flirting, attention, feeling loved, dancing, parties
dislikes: being ignored, missing Atlanta, feeling like an outsider, being afraid, being so tall, her dad's job, being expected to set a good example (it's really too much pressure)
fears: not finding Atlanta, dealing with her family if/when she returns home now that she's plainly not normal
goals: to just be enough for someone regardless of her newly developed oddity, to figure out exactly what is happening to her and what to do about it
top 5 traits:
flirtatious April desperately wants to be loved, and she equates attention to caring. Consequently, she does what she can to attract it, and flirting seems to work pretty well, especially with the opposite sex.
people-pleaser She likes to keep other people happy. As such, she tends to tell them whatever she thinks they want to hear as opposed to what she might really be thinking.
gullible Wanting to be wanted so badly has a way of making a person believe what others tell them. She is especially vulnerable to this in romantic relationships and generally falls in love very quickly, easily believing that she is loved in return.
anxious She is always silently afraid of what others might be thinking about her. This has only gotten worse since she's become so obviously different.
touchy-feely It sort of goes along with the flirtation. April always seems to be touching someone. It doesn't always mean anything. She just likes to cuddle, hold hands, hug, and generally enjoy physical contact. It has a tendency to make people she doesn't know uncomfortable and to send the wrong message sometimes, but it's a natural tendency for her.[/ul][/blockquote]
DEAR MOM AND DAD, I‘LL SEND MONEY

Mary, 43, housewife
father: Peter, 45, preacher
siblings: Nancy, 13; Timothy, 16; Atlanta, 20
others: no one significant
hometown: a small town in Kansas
history: As the second oldest girl in the family, April grew up idolizing her big sister. They were so different that she couldn't really hope to be like Atlanta. Where Atlanta was curvy and exuded sex appeal, April was gangly and lacked curves entirely until recently. Where Atlanta was a talented singer, April was a talented athlete. Even so, the enjoyed a relatively close relationship, sharing secrets and supporting one another through tough times.
When April was thirteen, her sister's power manifested, resulting in an auditorium full of bespelled people who had heard her song. Being a devout religious man, their father insisted that she'd been possessed and took it upon himself to beat the evil spirits out of her. April was terrified by the situation and responded by withdrawing into herself. She began dressing in loose clothing that fit her poorly, fearing that any overtly flirtatious or sexual behavior would earn a beating of her own. Shortly thereafter, Atlanta left home, indicating that she was moving to Oregon to attend a private school run by nuns.
There was little contact between the girls after Atlanta left, and April slowly began to return to a more normal state, taking up running and joining the track team. She'd just begun to settle into her life again when things started getting weird. She'd always been a good runner, but her speed suddenly increased, and she became impossibly fast. That was easy enough to hide if she focused on slowing herself down a bit. But the morning she woke up with yellow eyes, she knew it was over. Her father, she knew, would react badly, probably by attempting some ridiculous method of driving the evil out of her. She packed as many things as she could fit into a duffel bag and stole away in the night, headed for Oregon.
It took her all of about three days after she arrived to realize that Atlanta wasn't at a school run by nuns. Since then, she's been nosing around the state, asking for any clues she could find to her sister's whereabouts. She's recently arrived in Heatherfield in hopes of finding her there.
