history: Kennedy was adopted by Caroline and Sasha after he was put put up for adoption by the mother. It was a closed adoption, and that's just fine with all involved. Caroline and Sasha lived in New York with their dog and loved their new addition to the family. They could tell from early on that he was different, and he easily came out at a young age. They took great pride in being a gay family and grew close. Paloma was added to the mix a few years later and she proved a gem.

While Ken loved NYC, he wanted to get in a bit of traveling, get some inspiration for his fashion line as he tries to break into the designing world. He's on a tour of the west coast currently, and heard about a strange little town with gifted people. While his gifts are easily hidden and explained, he was intrigued and got a hotel room in town so he could check it out.
