top 5 traits: Caring – Niamh is a very caring person, she likes to help and she hates seeing others in pain. She is often seen helping at the local homeless shelters and orphanages. Niamh tends to try and take over the care of others. Including the care of her young niece.
Naïve – Niamh is very trusting and often too trusting. She tends to think the most of people she meets and that can be her downfall, unfortunately she tends to ignore her visions which tend to warn her.
Generous – she is always giving away spare change to the homeless and buying them food to try and help. She often volunteers and gives up her time to make others lives better. She often gives to charity and does charity events. With a sporty mother she is quite good at the charity runs.
Seer – one of the main things that makes Niamh who she is are her visions. She may hate them but they can be handy, she has managed to warn people about their 'imminent deaths' at times. Unfortunately she hates herself for not stopping her sister, who killed herself. She can't pick and choose what she sees and she hates it. She loves the nights were she can get some sleep.
Romantic – at heart Niamh is an hopeless romantic, often dreaming away the day with thoughts of this blue eyed boy she has seen in her dreams, she hopes they are visions and not dreams as they keep her going. hometown: Her grandparents are originally Irish (on her mother's side and her 'fathers') and immigrated before her parents were even born. Therefore Niamhs home town is here.
history: Niamh was the youngest of the Crowley family and the Fallon family. She was born Niamh Aoife Fallon, but recently found out her father was not Eoghan like she had thought, but Matthew Crowley.
She was two years old when she first showed signs of being a seer. She had a vision of her sister falling over and hurting her knee. Which eventually came to pass. She was confused, incredibly so. It was then that Eoghan – completely unknowing of his wifes affair – brought in Matthew Crowley to teach the young girl about her visions. Of course at first Niamh didn't get it, and Matthew was more of a baby sitter for the cold Eoghan. So under Matthews care, Niamh began to blossom into a caring, kind young lady. Her father, did not know that she was his for the longest time.
When she was 5, her and her twin Cael thought it would be funny to prank Eoghan, by turning his office inside out. He hit both of the young children, and they learnt that their father was not a nice man. They avoided him as much as they could, clinging to Rhiannon and Matthew rather than Matthew. They didn't get on too well with their older siblings, but they had each other.
They went to school and made friends and the twins began to grow apart. They went into different groups. Cael became interested in sport and Niamh in art. So they spent less and less time together. By high school they didn't really speak to each other. It was when Niamh was 11 that the vision of her sister being raped hit her. She didn't know what to do, she didn't understand it, and she had grown up hating her visions, so she ignored it. Nothing happened for two years and then one day, her older sister came home changed. Her vision had come to pass. Niamh told her sister, and was afraid that Jenna would hate her, but the now passive girl just smiled at her, and told her not to say anything. So she didn't. Jenna then moved away – to Aoife Nolan's – their grandmother. She came back a year later with a young baby, who she had named Mhairi. Their parents didn't welcome the girl back with open arms, they shunned her. Sending the girl over the edge.
That night, Niamh had another vision, of her sister hanging from a balcony, limp. She woke with a start and began crying. She ran out of the house in her pjyama's, and jumped into the car she couldn't drive, and crashed it trying to get to her sister. When she was pulled out of the car, she screamed at the paramedic's. She wanted them to let her go. Cael, Lorcan and her parents were woken by the crash and watched as the hysterical Niamh clawed and kicked at the paramedic holding her down.
Niamh was taken to hospital despite her protests, and sure enough when her grandmother awoke, Jenna was found dead.
The family were horrified, no one more than Niamh, who blamed herself for not getting to her sister in time. Slowly the family began to repair the whole, but no one knew what to do with Mhairi, they didn't know who the father was. When they decided to take the girl in, Niamh took to looking after her, she adored children and found that she was a natural at looking after her. She was only 14 years old almost fifteen at the time, but she coped. It was in the same year that she learnt about her real father, the man who had been looking after her for years and had trained her in her 'seer' powers.
She was horrified at first, but then she grew to like the idea, she had no love for Eoghan and had always felt like Matthew was more of a father to the rest of them. Matthew, Rhiannon and Niamh discussed telling Cael and decided that they should, so the next day. They sat the whole family down and told everyone. That had not been their original plan, but Rhiannon had been so sick of hiding that she explained everything. Cael was shocked, but he like Niamh accepted Matthew as his father. Lorcan wasn't so happy. His siblings weren't his siblings, they were only his half siblings. He rejected Niamh and Cael, and stayed with his father. It was then Niamh, her parents and her brother moved out. Eoghan wasn't happy about it, and wouldn't allow Rhiannon a divorce so she couldn't marry Niamh's father, and if she did it wouldn't have been legal.
When she was 16, she decided that she wanted to work at the local school, and started to train for it. She worked hard and got her school work done. She doesn't plan to stay working as a teacher all her life.
Recently she has worked on her own plans of building an orphanage for the children who need a nice place to stay. When she was 18, she haqd a vision of herself falling over and being knocked unconscious, but it changed, she was awoken by a young blue eyed man, that was all she ever say. The eyes. Since then she has been searching for him. [/ul][/size][/blockquote]
