history: Ajax's parents relationship didn't ever look like it would work. They got together when Helen was 14, and Jacques was 24, that was frowned upon. Helen thought she had found the 'one' yet, Jaqcues didn't quite think the same. Once he got what he wanted from the pretty young teen, he hopped town and left. He didn't stay long enough for Helen to even realise she was pregnant with his baby.
It wasn't long after she turned fifteen that little Ajax was born. Named after one of the greek mythologies. He was born with dark hair and dark eyes, though his eyes were a more auburn colour to begin with. It was odd, as all babies were born with blue eyes that changed into the colour they would stay. Ajax grew up happy, despite not having a father figure till his 5th birthday. Helen was 20, and had just gone into work for the first time. She met the new love of her life, Sable. A dark haired man, who worked a few floors above her. They began dating, and eventually Sable moved in with the family when Ajax was 8.
Aged 9, Ajax was told that he was to be a big brother to a little girl. Being a troublesome child, he had a huge tantrum, and ended up unleashing his pyrokinesis. He burnt the house down. Luckily no one was hurt, except for Ajax, who had not yet built up a resistance to the fire he produced, meaning he could do nothing but burn his hands, arms and legs. Luckily his face wasn't burnt but it took a long time for him to go back to normal.
When he was released from hospital aged 10, after around 8 months of care for burns, he was taught to control his power, and how to use it safely. His teacher also taught him how to not be hurt by his power, and he began to flourish. Anathama or Ana as they nicknamed her was born and she was a little sweet heart with black hair and dark eyes they could pass for full siblings. Ajax went back to school and found that he wasn't so great at it. He had missed out on a lot and really he wasn't a very smart cookie. He was a pretty good cook though and was pretty good at sports too. His second half sibling was born when he was 12, two years after Ana, Helen and Sable named him Andrew. He was around 12/13 when he realised that he didn't only like girls. He had developed a crush on Anthony Ligur, a boy in his class one of the popular boys, who would never go for him. Yet one day, Ligur did. He kissed him, and the two started dating.
He was 15, when his second 'breakdown' happened. He'd been dumped by his boyfriend Ligur, though no one actually knew they had been together for 3 years since his ex had been scared of the gossip, and Ajax couldn't cope. He thought that he had loved Ligur, so he let his control slip, but only when he knew he was alone. Although his best friend, Scarlett had followed him, and was very nearly burnt by Ajax.
That woke Ajax up to what he was doing, and the damage he had caused. He collapsed there, and was sent to an hospital to care for his psychological problems. Since he kept so much of his anger locked up, it was beginning to leak out, and make him loose control .He was kept there for two year because he kept avoiding treatment. He didn't think anything was wrong with him.
When he was finally released after giving into the treatment, he was 17, and what he lacked in anger he made up for in sarcastic comments and silly pranks. Most of there pranks were aimed at teachers and the likes. He had decided that he didn't like figures of authority. People questioned the scars on his arms, but he started coming up with weird elaborate lies till people stopped asking.
He got a job at the local diner as a cook, which he loved it took him out of the house and away from the family he didn't really fit into. His mother had told him all about his father as he had been old enough to remember meeting Sable for the first time. He enjoyed being able to cook, and didn't mind standing near a hot oven all day, since he was used to heat. He had begun using his powers more regularly when he could, as it helped to keep him under control and kept his anger in check.
